We recently had the joy of watching the gorgeous and imaginative Oscar-winning animated short, Mr. Hublot, by Laurent Witz and Alexandre Espigares. The film takes place in an intricate Steampunk world as it follows the orderly routine of the quirky Mr. Hublot. The film is a visual treat, everything from lighting, to character design, to 3D modeling. The animators create a brilliant performance, capturing wonderful details of emotion through even the smallest of movements.
