Rapid Eye Digital is excited to be celebrating 10 years in business! It has been quite a journey. Our company got its start producing educational and training videos. We produced over 600 language learning videos, an animated series geared towards people with learning disabilities, and several video series for corporate employee on-boarding. Our corporate clients asked if we could help their marketing team produce content, so we expanded in that direction. Believing corporate video doesn’t have to be boring, we brought on animation and visual effects talent from several major film studios.
We got our start at the end of the great recession. Business was challenging. But we found that a lot of people, especially in Silicon Valley, used that opportunity to go their own path and start their own business. We took a lot of small jobs helping start-ups promote their services or get the word out on Kickstarter.
Today, we operate out of 2 offices, with clients large and small across the world. We’ve invested heavily in the past year on upgrading our technology and equipment to better serve our clients. We are still a small business and intend to stay small, with the same personalized experience we gave our very first clients. Our goal is to continue to expand our craft, the reaches of what we can create. We believe our growth is a measure of innovation in the visuals we produce.
We are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to keep doing what we love to do. Rapid Eye wouldn’t exist after 10 years without the amazing talent working for us. In the year ahead, we’ve budgeted for expanding techniques. We are bringing on new talent and trialing new software with the goal of expanding our visual styles. Through new software and cloud platforms, we hope to better optimize our workflow, making our delivery times even faster.
