Rapid Eye Digital was founded by Ben Young and Chad Carico. Both grew up in North Carolina and started making short films together since 10th grade. Young went west to California and Carico stayed close to home in North Carolina. This established the two main offices of R.E.D. as San Francisco, CA and Charlotte, NC.
From there, we rekindled relationships with old friends and colleagues in locations around the world. We established video crews and production teams in Los Angeles, New York, Shanghai, and Seoul. Our goal is to offer localized service to markets around the world and enable local businesses to reach out to those remote markets.
