Featuring the Work of Raffi and Argishti Musakhanyan
This past weekend, on my way to see The A-Team movie, I stumbled upon a very unique and unexpected gallery show at the AMC Van Ness in San Francisco. The show featured the sculptures and paintings of Raffi Musakhanyan and Argishti Musakhanyan. I was amazed by the very unusual sculptures and how they flowed into the gallery space. As an animator, I was also drawn to the dramatic use of weight and balance in the pieces. For now the show is scheduled to end this weekend but could be extended. The artists will be at the show for part of the weekend. Go check it out!
