UPDATE: Brave just won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature!
Pixar has produced many films over the years that are the epitome of our Eye Candy segments. However a couple of years have passed since any have been worth mentioning. Therefore we were excited to see this newest creation. Brave has a wonderful, simple story, stunning visuals, interesting character design, and notable technical achievement. The hair on Merida is amazing to watch and must have been a nightmare to produce. The film has a great sense of humor without lowering itself to talking animals or cheap jokes. The action keeps the pace and the visuals lock your attention throughout. It is a film easily enjoyed by young and old. Brave is a must see.
