This week’s Eye Candy is an elegant animated music video produced for music artist j.viewz by animator Clement Picon. There has been a surge in the amount of creative animation we’ve seen in mass media and marketing in the past year. We find it interesting to study unique styles of animation to bring that same new-ness to a marketing video for clients. This video wonderfully combines textures, vibrant colors, and delicate light to carry us on a journey through this fantastical landscape. It blends 2d textures with 3D camera moves to create a dynamic use of space. We encourage our clients to look around at other art for inspiration for their marketing media. Enjoy!
