UPDATE: Paperman just won the Oscar for Best Animated Short!
Disney’s Oscar-nominated “Paperman” combines superb storytelling with groundbreaking technique in this wonderful short animated film, featured on this week’s EyeCandy. The film uses a new technique that allows artists to apply 2D line drawings on top of the 3D models, essentially merging hand-drawn and CG animation.
